I have both a 220 and 440 version of this radio.
It appears that if you place the radio in CTCSS mode instead of carrier
squelch the COS line feeding the DB9 accessory socket no longer operates.
Has anyone figured out how to get a CTCSS signal to operate your node in
place of the COS signal?
Seems sort of silly not to have both a COS and CTCSS signal available.
The socket is only 6 pins and the 5VDC pin is fine but I'd rather have
CTCSS!
I guess COS is literal but squelch is squelch no matter if opened by a
carrier or a carrier with a CTCSS tone included.
