There is a built-in VPN in Hamvoip that will do the job just fine. You can
access your node remotely outside of your network.
I got the info from David McGough KB4FXC, made a document explaining how to
and tested it and I am very impressed.
I use a windows 10 laptop with the VPN installed on it as well. I can turn
it on and off as needed. I run iaxrpt and connect to the remote node.
I run WinSCP and connect to the remote nodes for editing and keeping
updates and doing remote archives. I also use Putty.
The best thing about this VPN is it runs when the raspberry Hamvoip boots
up.
There is no need for any ports to be forwarded. Check out my dropbox.
