[arm-allstar] USB driver for hamvoip

Chuck,

The CM119 is "automatically" supported in HamVoIP. Just enable using the
simpleusb channel driver in the rpt.conf file, restart asterisk and then
configure the levels and telemetry using the simpleusb-tune-menu program.

In the rpt.conf file, node stanza, make sure the rxchannel is setup for
simpleusb, similar to:

; Node number 1234
[1234]
rxchannel=SimpleUSB/usb1234
duplex=2 ; For full duplex repeater operation

Then, in the simpleusb.conf file, make sure you've got a stanza named with
the usb device identifier, as set above. So, for this example:

[usb1234]
;....Put the "standard" key/value settings in this stanza,
;....as found in this file as a sample config.

Then, save the file and restart asterisk.

Now run the simpleusb-tune-menu program and finish the basic
configuration.

Once you've been through this setup a few times, it goes very, very
quickly---maybe 15 minutes (literally)!

I feel rather dumb asking this question, but I'm having trouble trying
to figure out how to get my CM-119  based RaspPi hat to show up as a USB
device in hamvoip.  The hat uses USB to connect, not the GPIO pins, so
it's effectively a CM-119 based dongle.

Do I need to add a driver for the Cmedia chip?  The lsusb command shows
the chip is there, but I have no idea where its device file may (or may
not) be in the  /dev  directory.  The Cmedia web site makes no mention
of an ARM-based Linux driver.

Any suggestions for configuring this "dongle" will be most welcomed,
with my thanks.
