The node works fine on my LAN...and I have a static ip address set up. Ip address 10.0.1.5When I connect to my phone hotspot, I hear an ip address 192.168.43.71...is this valid? It is always this...but unable to connect a node..I am sure I am missing something but not sure..I don't know how to do a *A1 or *A5 on my handheld..I guess I need to be led by the hand for a bit..Thanks DougSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Allstar will work with phone hotspots outbound without any port forwardingthe same as it would on wifi or wired Internet assuming you areregistering. You won't be able to accept incoming calls because there is noway to port forward. If outgoing calls are not working you need to give us more informationabout what is happening when you try to connect. Do you get any response?Do you hear beeps? Do you get a connection fail? Also are you getting a valid IP address when you connect? You can hear yourIP address with the DTMF *A1 over the radio - Are you registering? You cancheck this by ssh'ing in and executing the script check-reg.sh at the Linuxbash prompt. If you are unable to do that DTMF *A5 will tell youregistration status over the radio,*73 Doug**WA3DSP**http://www.crompton.com/hamradio <http://www.crompton.com/hamradio>*On Fri, Jun 19, 2020 at 10:04 PM "dbachman via ARM-allstar" <arm-allstar at hamvoip.org> wrote:> Hi Darrel,Were you able to get allstar to receive incoming calls?
