[arm-allstar] Is port forwarding required?

I have said this for a long time but it is not a proxy per say as some
would know proxy. You just have a home node or any node where others can
connect to you that is accessible. Then you connect to that node from your
hotspot. Anyone then connecting to your fixed node with port forwarding can
communicate with you. It is simple and does not require anything special.
At the same time you, at your hotspot, can connect to anywhere else you
want but still monitoring your home node.
