[arm-allstar] Backing up files on bad SD Card

Mike,

Funny you should ask this today as I just got done doing that! I was
fooling around on an active node and it fail to boot .

You need to, as you said, mount it so you can read it on another system. I
exclusively use Linux here so it just mounts right up on a card reader
plugged into usb. If your windows method works that's great. You need the
/etc/asterisk directory which will include the local directory and
/srv/http which will include supermon. Also the /etc directory and any
place else you may have saved something. I copied these backups onto the
new image mounted in Ubuntu. Then when it comes up the node should be
working. You should run firsttime.sh and do an update and make sure things
are set correctly there but don't run the node-config as that would
overwrite your old data. Otherwise you should be back online. There is a
backup and restore script you can run but it does not take that much time
to do it manually either. If you do run that script you need to configure
the file that specifies what files/directories to backup.
