[arm-allstar] Issue with Sound FOB & RPi-3

Good day
I am newbie to AllStarLink and have installed Version 1.5rc50 on my RPi-3.
It was very easy to follow the instruction in order to get the software up
and running.(Thanks to K1GMM video's).
I am using VOX via a Sound FOB. I have an issue and wonder whether it is
hardware or software related.
When I use my HT to connect to my Node, it does not activate the PTT when
monitoring in Supermon. It remains Idle.I am able to connect to other Nodes
and receive their transmission.
I have enabled Echolink and my Node works fine.
I thought there was an issue with my first install so I re-installed all
over again tonight. I used Simple USB Tune Menu to check. Option D (PTT and
Tone Output) works fine but when I use Option 2, no voice transmission is
present.
I have tried with a second FOB, the SoundBlaster USB sound dongle and still
the same.

Any help would be appreciated.
