[arm-allstar] PTT Delay idea

John,

What kind of ALC circuit/system is this? What type repeater or network?

I've never heard of this being needed in ham applications, since most 
limiters for FM use have very fast attack times on high level signals.

The other factor is that the ALC won't settle if there is no audio. So,
just delaying the PTT probably isn't a solution--the user likely won't yet
be talking, as is suggested by keying for 2 seconds before talking, below.
