the 3A power supply requirement is so that it can put out 1.2A to USB devices, 
so it's not much more than prior models. It will run on the prior power supplies 
with an adapter they sell.

I'm not saying tht allstar needs the extra processing power and ram, It's going 
to depend on what you do, and in most simple cases it doesn't.
