[arm-allstar] UV-82 No audio/DTMF input

Doug,

That's what is making this so strange. So let me clarify this a
little better.

With RX boost set to 1 and audio levels set via option 2 within the
scale I (between 3-5khz) was at around 400. CLI would not decode my
DTMF on the screen nor could I connect to anything. So, I switched RX
boost to 0 and in option 2 I noticed quite a drop in audio. I then
adjusted the levels up to be in scale (between the 3khz and 5khz
range) and at this point I was at about 580. Switching over to CLI,
it was able to decode the DTMF on screen, however I still cant
connect to anything nor can I get a playback by simply pressing * 7 0
on the keypad.

I can manually connect to nodes using Putty with the command rpt
fun <mynodenumber> * 3 <node#toconnectto> and hear stations talking
and their audio comming through sounds just fine.

I've built two other nodes in the past, both 888's and never had a
single problem. I just dont understand why the 82 is giving me such a
hard time.

And yes, PRE and DE are off.

I just got back into town after your last reply and will play with
the levels a little more.

Thanks so much for the replies, I really aprreciate it.

  Dave
