[arm-allstar] Very low audio.

Fred,
I just ran through this very setup and suffered the same problem.
Although many suggestions were given, nothing worked. It was suggested,
that perhaps the radio will not function in wide band mode and I'm inclined
to believe that is the case. I can assume that it worked for the person who
developed the "How To" on the Hamvoip website but perhaps they had a
different revision of the UV 82 radio. I even went so far as to remove the
4.7Kohm resistor in line with the receive line of the URI but it didn't
help. I could never even reach the 3khz mark on the deviation test menu
page. I'm now in the process of building a radioless node just to test my
URI since I have the parts on hand. If that works, I'll go a different
route with a radio. In all likelihood I'll use an Alinco DR 435 as this one
is know to work well and not suffer long term ill effects. You posting with
this problem almost makes me think I'm getting played the "April Fool"
