My apologies. I did not mean to confuse issues.

You are absolutely right which is why I was hesitant to mention RF.
I bring this up because I'm preparing to put all of this in a Pelican 1120
this weekend.

For all I know, it could absolutely be a sub-par solder joint on my part.
