Just to clarify. Coiling a cord has nothing to do with audio. It probably
is some kind of RF issue. In fact coiling a cord in most cases could
eliminate an issue of RF getting into the system. Long uncoiled cables act
as antennas to surrounding RF. In your case apparently it is doing the
opposite for some reason or maybe it is just a coincidence.
