Thank you.
Turns out it was the TX A and B audio that needed to be tweaked down to
around 300.
The RX audio had been dialed down to the low side so it was clean, if not
just a tad quiet.

Node appears to be running fine now. Started a 'burn in' test last night
around 9 CST.

*random tip* - coiling the usb cable between the Pi and the FOB for neat
storage creates just enough distortion for the unit as a whole to cause it
to miss a PTT unkey.
