[arm-allstar] Misbehaving Node

I have a node x that when it is instructed to connect: connects, does not send telemetry, hangs ppt on node x, shows connected, is not hanging ppt on system connected to, when instructed to disconnect both the original connect and disconnect telemetry play and ptt drops.
Can I force a reload of the software by downloading 1.5 and then upgrading again? Or is the sd card going to revert after boot? Or can I load everything from the sd card and see if it's good? 
This node has been in operation for 2 years.  Looking to see if there is an alternative to making a new image.
