[arm-allstar] Remote Base question

I don't see the 271 or G707 in HamLib but maybe they share common control
schemes with other radios listed in the compatible radios list.

If you need someone to test your updated/changed code, I'll be happy to
help.  I have a system setup here at home and I have a TM-G707 here as well.
The repeater site isn't far so I can go grab the 271 to test with as well.

I assume you are doing BCD on the Maxtracs?  I am using Kenwood 7180/8180
radios to do the same at another site.

Yes, the HamVoIP image should be able to control the TM-271A, using the same
rpt.conf syntax as found in the ACID software.

HOWEVER, that code in app_rpt is on the list to be replaced / updated.

Hamlib should control the TM-271A as well. I have a TM-G707 and a TM-281 I'm
going to experiment with as soon as time allows. Currently I'm using MaxTrac
radios for remote bases and they work very well---well enough that the
Kenwood project got moved to the "back burner."
