Thanks that answered it perfectly. I will move back to the repeater and see what I can come up with.
Updated 15 nodes 8 private, last I looked 28 hours with 1400 ptt's!

I assume you mean using a decoded PL tone in lieu of a COS signal for indication of RX? If this is the case then you would need to use usbradio which is there but just not supported or generally recommended in the hamvoip code. The config fiel is in /etc/asterisk/usbradio.xxx - this file would need to be configured for your radio and the rxchannel line changed in rpt.conf.
There are always ways around this however using hardware like a stand-alone PL decoder driving COS which for now might be a better choice if I am understanding your need.
