[arm-allstar] Node with/without radio

Yes I use a second UV82 HP to contact the node. That way when I’m camping I can leave the node running in the RV and then walk away and still contact the node with my HT while I’m walking. I can usually go 2 to 4 miles and still hit the node depending on terrain. At times I run the node radio on high power and have not had any heat problems during normal QSOs. In my node I mounted the radio out of its case with plenty of room around it which helps cooling. However if I hook to something like the win system or a net where people are talking a lot I only run it on low power to make sure it does not heat up. For the node antenna I use a home made 440 ground plane antenna or a mag mount.
