[arm-allstar] arm-allstar Digest, Vol 51, Issue 3

I think the person that asked this question would not know what an RTCM was
and in any event buying a $300 box to solve the problem is NOT the way to
go.

In Allstar you have the option of using the usbradio channel driver in lieu
of the standard simpleusb channel driver. It is not the recommended driver
because it has issues but it does work. In order to use it you would have
to configure the usbradio.conf file and change the channel driver in the
rxchannel= statement in rpt.conf. Yo also would need to use flat audio from
the radio (no de-emphasis)

Piossibly a better option that would allow you to use simpleusb with a
radio where you cannot pickup a COS signal is to use a PL tone decoder
board looking at the output audio of the receiver and keying the COS line.
CTCSS decoder Boards are available online at ebay,
http://www.masterscommunications.com/products/squelch/ct30.html ,
http://www.transcendient.com/cdc_01.htm,
https://www.com-spec.com/tone_signaling/ts_index.html to name a few.
