[arm-allstar] Configure node in the field

I successfully used a radio-less node on a United Airlines flight connected to their onboard WiFi and talked from 34,000ft going 605mph with my portable, battery powered node........cool. Used my laptop to configure.........

What are the options for a small screen or something to be able to configure WiFi in the field so a large laptop doesn’t need to be used. 

Is there a better way to configure WiFi. This is my basic question when portable in the field ?
