[arm-allstar] Port forwarding in an AT&T modem router

David, in most of the "Residential Gateway" modems used by AT&T, port forwarding is a two step process. 

First is to build a "User Defined Application". Two need building, one for SSH (TCP) and one for the inbound server port (UDP). 

You get to make the names. I generally use my AllStar node number or made up repeater name plus the SSH/Server port number, such as "29928 222" or "K5TEX_SWT 4569". You build them by selecting the protocol, port in and port out numbers - TCP, 222, 222. 

Then, you can associate these "applications" with a specific IP address, the one assigned to your RPi. 

It's a bit cumbersome and clunky with the two step process. Also, you can't edit or delete a user defined application if it's in use. You have to first remove the association. 

I've configured many port forwards for AllStar and other services in mine and my Dad's routers, fiber fed and U-verse, respectively. I know of others that placed an aftermarket router behind the fiber Gateway using DMZ. The AT&T services - phone, video, are not placed on the DMZ. I've not done this, so can't help there.
