[arm-allstar] Is there anything I can try, cellphone wifi hotspot, to help high jitter and dropped packets, during peak tower usage times?

I have said this before but I will repeat again, VOIP which Allstar uses to
communicate over the Internet is realtime, no buffering and no error
correction, thus it is an ideal test of your Internet connection. Any
disparity in the connection will show up unlike when browsing the web or
streaming buffered video. I don't care if you have 1Mb or 1Gb Internet
speed both would work fine for VOIP but neither would be fine if there was
packet loss. Quantity does not mean quality! It is also important to
determine where the problem actually is, it could be at your end or
anywhere in between. It is sometimes hard to track down. If you are using
wireless having two nodes on your LAN one wired and one wireless connected
together can help you analyze your problem and see if it is a local issue
which it could be. If you are in a dense wireless area you could be
clashing with a neighbors wifi or even your own if you have more than one
access point. I had this problem in my own home and I also had a severe
problem with an old wireless video camera that was wiping out wifi.
Changing your access points channel could help. You can download an app on
a smartphone to analyze the wireless channel usage. Wifi is not the
panacea that many think it is especially in densely populated areas using
VOIP.
