[arm-allstar] Kenwood TM-V71A as a remote base

Stephen,

  Hamlib is definitely the way to go assuming it has the rig you are using.
The built-in control is buggy at best. I don't see it listed but it
possibly might work with another Kenwood listing. Do  rigctl -l    at the
Linux prompt to see the rigs supported. You can always test it.
