[arm-allstar] Kenwood TM-V71A as a remote base

Thanks Doug... I don't have the radio yet, I'm considering purchasing one
with the express intent of using it for this application, but didn't want
to spend $300+ to discover it won't work for my needs :( What I'm after is
the ability to enter frequencies/offset/pl tones etc as well as access
pre-programmed channels in memory, all of which I know hamlib supports,
just not so sure on this particular radio. It is not in the list of
supported radios, but I have found out from my research thus far that the
CAT commands are very similar to the D710 and that is in the list as "Beta"
so may work afterall.

Would like to hear of folks experiences with this setup if anyone has any.
I may go head and order a radio anyhow, but just want to make sure its the
right move.
