[arm-allstar] Duplex=0 - messages still possible

So if I use duplex=0 on a port of my SCOM (working well for Echolink
by the way) are there any reasons I cannot have the Allstar system
manage and transmit voice messages out the repeater using the cron
system?

I am only asking in case there is an obscure road block awaiting us
before we head down the rabbit hole.
