[arm-allstar] Playnews migration to v1.5

Robert,

I imagine it has something to do with writing to your usb drive. Can you
access it manually and manipulate files there?

 Why are you using a usbdrive as the tmp directory?  the default /tmp is a
ramdisk tmp filesystem and the best choice.
