[arm-allstar] repeater echo question

Greetings everyone, hope you are all well.
I have recently set up an Allstar duplex repeater.
When I complete an RF transmission into the repeater I can hear a clear
echo of the tale end of my transmission after unkeying. What might be
causing this?
Equipment:
Rpi
URIx
pair of CDM1250 transceivers.
