Ken,
Glad to hear you got it going. The BBB code does not have Allmon installed.

Hi Doug,
Yes I was using a monitor and keyboard.
I must have been doing something wrong because after it rebooted I
wasn't asked to log in it came straight up with the bbb-allstar
prompt.
I started again from scratch and got it right this time, everything
is working. I just have the simpleusb to tune up now. Is Allmon 2
built into this version?
Thanks again
Regards
Ken

Ken,
Are you using a monitor and keyboard to login or logging in
over ssh? When using ssh and it reboots you would always have
to re-connect back in at the IP address and port. It would not
automatically do that. In any case using the monitor or ssh
you would need to re-log back in. The last instruction screen
tells you to do that and reminds you to use the new password
and IP address/port if changed.

Hi Doug,
No I didn't, I had it in my head that it would carry on with
the script as I was sure the earlier scripts did.
I have change the ip address to static and when I set up the
ip address netmask and gateway, it then asked if I wanted to
carry on with the node set up Y or N I typed Y and it
rebooted.
it then sits at the bbb-allstar prompt, not a login prompt
I'll try it with putty
Thanks

Ken,
I am not sure what you mean by sits at the prompt. When
it reboots you need to close that session in putty or
whatever you are using and log back in at the NEW (if
you changed anything at first setup) port and IP
address. It will then continue the setup. Did you do
that?

Hi,
I'm upgrading to the latest version of the bbb software.
I'm obviousy doing something wrong because running the
initial setup I can get through the static/dchp setup
but when it asks if I want to setup the node and I type
Y it reboots and just sits at the bbb-allstar prompt
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction
Regards
Ken
