[arm-allstar] Polycom SIP phone hangs up 32 seconds after nodestatus

The messages that you're seeing in the Asterisk console are not being sent to or seen by the Polycom endpoint. You should be able to debug or tcpdump SIP packets (port 5060) if you want to watch the conversation. It may be something odd where the system is creating a conference for you to listen to that radio channel, and have the announcements mixed in, then when that is being torn down it is not signaling that properly back to the polycom SIP phone.

If the phone is hanging up you'll see the SIP BYE message from it, but you could also see that from Asterisk if it felt like it was going to end the call. I've never really looked at it to see what it is doing, but it has been a long while since I had actually set a phone up that was registered to the Asterisk installation directly. Given the (lack of) horsepower that the Pi and other arm devices have, I have always found it to be safer not to stack too many things on there - however there has certainly been some refinement in the code over the years.

If you do get some traces from a capture, or if the phone itself is logging them (likely, somewhere) it would be interesting to see what is going on.
