Yes,  You bring up a good point on versions which we have already discussed. The last BBB version 1.2.1 came out about 6 months before the RPi2 and the reason the version number is higher is because there were several releases in the first 6 month period. When the RPi2's first release version came out we just naturally named it 1.0  The next update will keep the numbering consistent between the BBB and RPi2.

Hi Doug,
We spoke this morning over allstar about a similar topic, so I'll piggy-back this thread. I am looking to upgrade asterisk/allstar on my beagle bone black. 
If I understand it correctly, the latest code is in the raspberry pi image from this url:http://hamvoip.org/RPi2/RPi2_V1.0_Allstar.zip
Is that correct? I noticed the Beagle Bone Black image has version 1.2.1, so it seemed like it might actually be more recent.
Plan is to download the RPi image and copy the code to the BBB, recompile, reinstall.

I generally would not recommend system upgrades but if you did then the dahdi code needs to be recompiled not asterisk.  

cd /usr/src/utils/dahdi......

Whatever the dahdi directory name is on your system.

Then -

make all
make install

then reboot.

Hi Doug,
I did a system update on one of your images and now i get this errorasterisk: error while loading shared libraries: libncursesw.so.5:
I don't have this file but I got libncursesw.so.6
Do I need to recompile asterisk? if so, where do you store the source?
