The localplay statement you had in your message lacked the file name???
asterisk -rx "rpt localplay 41741
It should be asterisk -rx "rpt localplay <node> <full path to file name>
Something like -
asterisk -rx "rpt localplay 40000 //etc/asterisk/local/node-id
You don't put the extent and you should use the entire path.
