I would have to say no. It is a step backward from the Pi 2 in many ways. Hams are cheap but the Pi at $29.95 (microcenter in store) or $35 elsewhere is a very good value. I think we will see even more powerful boards like the Pi 2 in the future. We are looking to go up in capability at the same price not down in capability just to be cheap.

I have not look into the new PI Zero yet but was wandering if could run the RPI2 Allstar image or any future for this Pi Zero to run an Allstar node? Thanks
