[arm-allstar] Raspberry PI Zero

Hi Guys,
The Pi Zero datasheet doesn't indicate any on-board Ethernet hardware,
either! ....So, it probably wouldn't be too useful for AllStar, in a
general purpose way.
There are a great many very inexpensive RPi styled boards becoming
available these days, for example: http://www.orangepi.org/ and
http://ameridroid.com/products/odroid-c1 ...The issues with these new
boards seemingly being Linux driver support (at least on the Odroid C1).
I was an early purchaser of several Odroid C1 boards, getting my first
samples almost a year ago. The C1 shows enormous potential, however, the
USB drivers weren't quite right, resulting in frequent, random audio pop
and clicks; which I'll add are NOT the AllStar software's fault. A year
later, these issues persist (yes, there has been a quantity of discussion
about this in the Odroid forums!). But, even with the USB woes, the C1
still makes a GREAT AllStar hub, etc., where USB drivers aren't needed!
So, whatever the case, the good news is that the future looks bright for
these little, inexpensive boards, for this type of application!

ways. Hams are cheap but the Pi at $29.95 (microcenter in store) or $35
elsewhere is a very good value. I think we will see even more powerful
boards like the Pi 2 in the future. We are looking to go up in capability
at the same price not down in capability just to be cheap.
