[arm-allstar] TX level in simpleusb-tune-menu

The RX level is currently set at 50 for simpleusb, and it has a normal level. DTMF works just fine. I'm able to set the RX level in simpleusb-tune-menu, that works, it's just the TX level adjustment does nothing. I played with usbradio, and I found it odd that the level settings in usbradio had to be set differently than on simpleusb. For example when I played with usbradio the RX level was set at 500 and was normal audio level. When I switched to simpleusb a setting off 500 for RX was way too hot. In fact the default settings in usbradio were just right. The default RX settings in simpleusb however were way too hot and the default TX only slightly hot. I switched to simpleusb because my audio going out to the allstar network was slightly broken up, but I wasn't using any of the DSP features anyway. Just a COR signal.

To make suggestions on how to fix your issue we still need to know the RX LEVEL     Some times people over drive the rx level which can be one of several root causes for your problem. Also does DTMF decoding work?   Thanks

The A level is set to 450, B level 500, no Pre or De,. I have audio configured for A and B is off but I tried adjusting both of them and no change. Not using rxboost, or txboost. The RX adjustment works just fine...

 Andrew I have been through this several times myself first question what is your receive level your transmit a level and your transmit b  level if you hit option P you'll get them also is rxboost turned on or off and are you using any Pre or De  emphasis settings?73 Neil K8IT

So I lowered it way down and still same audio level. Audio is on source A. The RX level works just fine but the TX level does nothing. I did however discover that alsamixer will change the TX level. Am I missing something here? The node is running on a Pi2. Thanks. Andrew.
