Hi Group,
I'm trying to figure out what I need for hardware to make a stand-alone repeater using AllStar.
I have two radios, and two antennas, so I don't need a duplexer.
I bought a repeater cable for the TX radio, and I'm working on understanding AllStar to fit my needs in this project.
The radio will not be used on the AllStar node system, I plan on just having a local repeater, although if I can get it to get on-line and repeat time and temperature, that would be great.
But it seems that I need something called a uri, that AllStar will send and receive through with the respective radios, something like a modified USB soundcard?
Anyway, can anyone let me know if I am on the right track here on this device in the middle?
How much should this missing piece to this circuit cost me?
