Doug,
This feature does not control the overall volume of the node - it
controls the level of the telemetry. That includes the volume of
Allison and any tones (ID, courtesy, etc.).
If you don't want any reduction of the level of the telemetry when
someone (anyone - anywhere) has a MIC button depressed - then set:
telemduckdb=0
