Hi,
Yes, HamVoIP works very well to implement split-site repeaters, many are
using HamVoIP this way, including myself.
The nodes I use for a split-site setup are configured for full-duplex
(duplex=2) and have the TX connected at one end and the RX connected at
the other. Then, these private nodes are simply linked to each other with
a permanent connection. I'm using a VPN between the sites (ZeroTier), but
that's not an operational requirement.
What type of radio hardware are you using?
