Hello,
In rpt.conf, Locate one of the ctX= lines where X is one of the
numbers of the courtesy tone that you wish to use.
Copy everything to the right of the equals sign to the end of this
line to your clipboard.
Then, locate the line that begins with remotetx=
At the beginning of this line, add a ; (semicolon).
After this line, add a new line with the return key, and type in
remotetx= and then paste the contents of your clipboard. Be sure not
to leave a space after remotetx=.
Save, exit, upload rpt.conf (if necessary), then do astres.sh from the
shell or select restart asterisk from the hamvoip menu.
Finally, give it a whirl. This should set your local courtesy tone
when connected to the one you selected from the ct selections.
HTH,
Adam VA3AUM
