[arm-allstar] Email and SMS text message howto - UPDATED

Hi John,

In general, for any important e-mail (like system alerts), I recommend
staying away from ANY bulk e-mail service---their messages are frequently
blocked by dynamic spam filters (like the ones I use!).

Gmail is easy to setup and generally works well.
