You are not going to fix packet loss with a codec. We used ILBC for a little while, we thought it sounded better. But in the end, lost data is still lost forever and still causes a dropout. An FCC complaint against our provider, COX in Las Vegas is what finally got us some satisfaction.

You will have more luck fixing your link than with a different codec.

supported.  A friend commented that Asterisk level 15 or beyond supports an
OPUS CODEC.   I have no idea what level of Asterisk is supported by this
software.   Information?
