We put everything having to do with the node, pi, RA-40, power supply in one of those Eddystone like cast aluminum boxes with RF pi network feed thrus and some power conditioning. One of our repeaters is at a 50 kw AM transmitter site and we like our network traffic to be louder than the radio stations.

Don't know if attachments are allowed but I can send pictures direct if you would like to see.

I am curious if any of you shield the PI and whichever interface you use?
For ex.
I have a pi and a masters communications ra25.

I would like to do some ideas on what y?all do to shield them in your cabinet? if it?s even necessary?

Personally I have not experience any issues with the PI in regards to
RF, it's usually issues with the receiver. Then I have to only isolate
or shield from RF.? Then also my cans on the Repeater I can place a
additional filter for that specific frequency to null if needed, but
haven't needed to yet.
