[arm-allstar] Help with home built Allstar node

Hi All,
I’m new to Allstar. I am building a new node, using a Pi 3, Hamvoip soft ware, Baofeng 888 and a modified CM 108 usb sound card. After much effort, it seems it is nearly working. All star sees my node, and the radios are talking to each other on power up. However, when I turn on my node, the 888 starts to Tx and stays Tx’ing until the 888 Tx default time out kicks in. When I PTT my external ht the node briefly goes into Rx, then again defaults to Tx for the default period.
Any help/ideas would be appreciated.
