[arm-allstar] event-based recording

Hi:
I want to have an event that captures inbound transmissions to a
radioless node, annalyze the peak or RMS of the resulting audio, then
based on those values, tell the user if audio is low, normal, high or
critical, based on an idea from a Brandmeister talkgroup that does the
same. I'm pretty sure I know how to make the last bit happen once audio
has been captured, but I'm not sure how to write audio somewhere that
can be easily referenced when a user keys the node without using
archiveaudio, such that it can be processed. I think there is a way to
capture parrot audio. Basically, what I want is a parrot that doesn't
parrot, but instead sends the resulting audio to something else via a
script that does a thing based on the output, with parroting optional.
Any ideas?
Thanks and 73
