[arm-allstar] dtmf audio level

Have you swept the audio response from the radio going into your usb audio
device? If the audio conming from the receiver into the usb device isn't
de-emphasized you will need to add deemphasis=yes to your simpleusb.conf
file. If there isn't de-emphasis anywhere the higher frequency component
may be clipped.
