[arm-allstar] Commercial Systems

Hi Everyone,

I want to add a closing comment about using AllStar for anything related
to Public Safety, assuming this is a primary communications system.

My simple statement is: Don't go there.

This comment has nothing to do with the quality of the software,
licensing, support, etc. In the USA, since 09/11/2001, the communications
model for Public Safety systems has been well established. Neither
AllStar, nor any other non-standards-based system, fit the currently
defined mold. There is a lot of commercial equipment out there that does
fit, sometimes this hardware even being available on the surplus market.

In the long run, other options will make a better choice, and minimize
any future political headaches.
