My question pertains to not just HamVoIP but potentially both the HamVoIP
and the ASL versions of Allstar. I have an opportunity to possibly install
a low cost public safety simulcast system for a small county that has a
limited budget. With this system, I would use Allstar running on a server
using the RTCM's. The RTCM's are sold commercially through Micro Node so
their resale shouldn't be an issue. My question is selling a government
(county) agency this system without violating the licensing of the
software. In reality we aren't selling the Allstar software, only the
hardware and the time set it up. I am trying to see if anyone has done this
or if anyone can advise me on the legalities of doing this. Any information
would be appreciated.
