[arm-allstar] Check package list before upgrade?

Being an old Linux hand, one of the things I value is seeing a list of
packages to be updated before I do the deed. I am not faulting the
upgrade menu item in hamvoip, I would like to do the exact same action
manually.
I see the following in /var/log/pacman.log:
[2021-09-10 09:35] [PACMAN] Running '/usr/local/hamvoip-pacman/bin/pacman --force --noconfirm --yes -Syu'
[2021-09-10 09:35] [PACMAN] synchronizing package lists
[2021-09-10 09:35] [PACMAN] starting full system upgrade
This update was done on a test system, not the repeater remote site.
I am guessing that if I ran
/usr/local/hamvoip-pacman/bin/pacman -Syu
manually that I would get the list and then confirm each package?
As I don't want to cause an issue with SSH access, I need to be careful.
