Hi David,

You're missing a space between the "-" and the "2"... For example, here 
is the command I use:

lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --scale 1.1 --bitwidth 16 /tmp/outsound/p1 - 2>/tmp/stream.status | ezstream -qvc /etc/asterisk/ezstream.xml

Here is the error I get:

lame: unrecognized option -2
ezstream: Warning: /etc/ezstream.xml is group and/or world readable
ezstream: Connected to (redacted)

Then this keeps scrolling continuously until I issue a ^C command to stop it:

ezstream: Streaming from standard input
