I wrote a document on how to use Google Assistant for issuing voice
commands to control the AllStar Asterisk Hamvoip Raspberry Pi Nodes. I
found an article by 4X5MG and added to it and wrote it in a format for
those that are comfortable with Windows 10 editing. I have found a couple
of problems with Google Assistant but for the most part it is fantastic.
Google won't accept more than 5 digits when using Monitor or Disconnect
commands. I changed the Connect command to Connect To, adding the TO
allowed me to use 6 digits sometimes but then that stopped as well. So as
long as you know the digit restriction you can always use a macro.
I have telemetry turned off and use an ascending and descending tone for
connections and disconnections so it's cleaner when you connect to a busy
net.
Let me know your thoughts, I have attached a pdf but have the text version
if need be. The spacing in the pdf should be fine for copy and paste.
