Okay,  when the duplex value > 0, the linktolink parameter is ignored.

>From the asterisk CLI try manually playing a sound, for example:

RPi3A*CLI> rpt localplay 1567 hello
    -- <DAHDI/pseudo-346262973> Playing 'hello' (language 'en')
    -- Hungup 'DAHDI/pseudo-346262973'


...replacing the 1567 with your node number.  If this works, the problem 
is most likely some issue in the command scripting you've setup.
